As you may have noticed I have not been updating here for quite a while. I have been finishing up my last semester of school and have been super busy. I have decided to close LucidBee.com, in favor of another site where I can better display my art and graphic design work. You can find me there at www.LucidBeeDesign.com I do not have all of my fine art up there yet, but will be posting more soon, and new pieces as they come there as well. See you there! Thanks everyone for your interest in my work!
Hello All! I now have the ability to make prints of my work, up to 13″x19″! I will be putting some new pieces up as prints in my etsy shop soon, of varying sizes, including some postcard sized prints. If there is a painting from the pages above that you are fond of, send me a message at lucidbee@hotmail.com. SO Excited!

Heading back for my last semester of school in a few weeks, I will be finishing up my graphic design associates. I am excited, and wanted to share with you the idea I had for an awesome messenger that will end up being my school bag for the semester. I have ordered the fabric from spoonflower.com, it should be here in about 10 days and I will be sure to post a pic once the whole thing is done, but here is the pattern that will be on the fabric, it is a mirror repeat of my painting “find me,” (the painting itself is posted on the Paintings – women page):
I love the eye shape (with my name in the center) and the other symmetrical shapes that are made by the mirroring of the image. Here is the bag I will be sewing the fabric to the flap of:
As I said I will post a pic of the finished bag in a few weeks.

Here it is, this years Alice in Wonderland Christmas Tree! My sister made me the characters out of paper clay a few years ago, as a birthday present. Earlier this year I made some mushrooms using the mokume gane technique with fimo. Complete with crystal blue drink-me bottles, cards, tiny tea cups, and a rainbow of christmas balls and glass teardrops, it is surrounded at its base by crackly glass balls, and topped off with a feathery mad hat.

Had a great time at the Open House this past weekend, a big Thank You to everyone who came. I still have several of these four inch square pieces, with hearts, flowers, and crazy drips puddling onto the wall, and I will be photographing them soon and putting them up in the LucidBee Etsy Shop!
